Destiny Melo, RP (Qualifying)

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Destiny has felt drawn to the helping profession from an early age, shaped by personal experiences with mental illness within her family and a longstanding desire to support others in their healing journeys. This background allows her to bring both clinical skill and deep empathy into the therapy room.

Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. Destiny believes that therapy is most effective when it is tailored to each client’s unique needs, values, morals, and personal goals. She integrates evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, Somatic Therapy,  and ACT to help clients build insight, emotional regulation skills, and meaningful, sustainable change.

Destiny strives to create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of growth, whether they are learning to manage overwhelming emotions, strengthen relationships, or navigate new chapters in life.
