Dora Habashi - MSW, RSW

As a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience, Dora offers a thoughtful, compassionate space for individuals, youth, and families navigating life’s complexities. Her approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s story, identity, and strengths.

Dora draws from narrative, strength-based, cognitive behavioural (CBT), and relational approaches to help clients make meaning of their experiences, build resilience, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change. She works collaboratively with clients to explore patterns, develop insight, and identify practical strategies that support healing and growth.

Her clinical experience includes supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, addiction, family conflict, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Dora is particularly skilled in helping clients navigate conflict, whether within families, relationships, or workplace dynamics, supporting them to communicate more effectively, set boundaries, and move toward resolution with clarity and confidence.

She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, including those navigating complex dynamics such as separation, parenting challenges, and intergenerational stress.

In addition to her clinical work, Dora brings a unique systems lens shaped by her leadership experience in child welfare and youth mental health. This perspective allows her to understand how organizational, relational, and societal dynamics influence individual wellbeing, and to support clients in navigating complex systems and environments.

Dora’s practice is grounded in anti-oppressive, equity-informed care, with attention to the ways culture, identity, spirituality, and lived experience shape each person’s journey. She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
